Tangentially related at best, but every time someone submits a photo to this Tumblr and they say their cat’s name is Luna, I smile. It reminds me of how much of an impact the series has left on society.

I personally think that sailor cosmos is Lady Usagi and Helious’s daughter. Aka Rini/ Chibi Usa.
She is already 900 years old, if Sailor moon had her at 22, they die around the same time, if Sailor Cosmos was more in the future she couldn’t have been either.
Cosmos seems to have a weaker will to battle on to protect her friends, hence the reason she traveled back to see Eternal Sailor Moon. Now if she is Chibi Usa’s daughter, Rini most likely told many stories of her powerful mother as she looked up to her so much.
I would think that Rini would have the same strong will of love to fight but Rini, at 900 is still not an adult, nor does she have a child yet, that her child wouldnt have as much time to spend training or being with her mother making her not have that strong will of love her mother and grandmother had fighting to project everything precious.
And for the costume.
Helious has white hair, but it could just be a white/ silver crystal (since her star seed is white it’s a bit more likely of this.) Though I think she has his eyes. (As far as I remember.) Gold is relating to earth aka the golden crystal which Helious had. All the colors in her skirt are most likely to represent all the scouts in unity. It looks like lights radiating out of a crystal. The wings something from Pegasus, though yes there is the eternal fuku’s wings but her back wings look a lot longer, more like Pegasus. Also, since Rini saw chibi chibi she may have liked the hair a.f gave her daughter this style for the hearts as a symbol of love.
