Alisa and Ayaka modelling for the same photoshoot in the February 2005 magazine of the now-defunct magazine “CANDy”. Considering their characters’ dynamics in the show, I love that these two appeared so often in the same magazine, even sometimes in the same shoot. I know that Mio was Usagi’s rival more than Minako’s, but I wish that these two had been given more screen time together. It would have been good to have a little more “battle of the idols” beyond Mars Reiko.

Keiko Kitagawa in “Ray” May 2011.  Still not loving the blunt bangs on her, but she’s still utterly lovely.

Apart from the fact that Keiko is just generally gorgeous, I’m relogging to say I bought this magazine the other day! Ray is popular so it sells out fast, so I was sort of half-heartedly looking for it… but there it was! Imagine my surprise (and joy) when I saw Keiko’s adorable face peeking out on the cover!
Haha, ignore me, but I love the PGSM girls so much. And of course, Rika is a big model for Ray now, so the magazine was full of her too.
And I think she looks cute with bangs, but it’s definitely a hairstyle that you either love or hate.

Now do keep in mind that my translation skills are… well, nonexistent, and the web can only do so much.  But I think that Miyuu Sawai is releasing a new gravure photobook and DVD!  I thought she’d left that world behind, but according to her website and a few other sources, there is a photobook Colors, and either a DVD or off-shots from the actual book, Colorful.

I thought Miyuu was getting steady work as a stage actress, but apparently not, or it’s not enough to keep her solvent.  I support Miyuu in whatever career choices she makes, but I really hope she did this because she wanted to and not because she had to. :/ Regardless, I’ll be scouring the internet for scans and will probably buy it if I absolutely have to.  ^^; You’re shocked, I know.

Also, despite being released in April, it doesn’t seem widely available… like I can’t find it on Amazon Japan or anything.  So if anyone has any information regarding Miyuu, please let me know!

As much as I love Miyuu and as excited as I am about a new photobook of hers (in any style), I have to point out she’s channeling some serious Duckface in this picture.
