Twelve? Who’s twelve? Chibi-Usa? You have a hard time buying that Chibi-Usa is twelve??
The only character I see and think, “Hmm, pushing it a bit there…” are Michiru and Haruka, but they’re meant to be that way, I think. They’re meant to be kind of ~perfect~ and their young age emphasises that.

Everyone and their dog ships PGSM!Rei/Minako, and if you didn’t at least see the chemistry between them then you weren’t watching the series right.

She was so classy, civil and loving despite being hurt. She really exhibited the spirit of Sailor Moon then… someone you can REALLY look up to. Anime!Usagi would’ve been horrible to Hina and yelled at her as she did to every other girl that showed interest in Mamoru in the anime.
Man, I was agreeing right up until the point where they started bashing Anime!Usagi. Like, what? The fundamental difference is that in PGSM, Usagi and Mamoru weren’t a couple, and in the Anime, they were. I mean, look at Rei and Mamoru together. Usagi was jealous but was never mean to Rei about it. She even apologised to Rei for listening to the orgel after Mamoru got brainwashed, because she thought Rei might still have some feelings for him.
Also, “be horrible”? Asserting to someone who has an interest in your boyfriend that he is your boyfriend is horrible? The only examples (not counting people who straight-up brainwashed Mamoru in order to be with him) I can think of are En - who was a total ass to Usagi anyway so their rivalry had less to do with Mamoru and more to do with them disliking each other - and Fisheye, whom Usagi was ridiculously nice to. Like, she had one moment where she went “You’d better not even think that Mamoru would leave me!” … after, you know, welcoming him/her into her house, giving them clean clothes, giving them food, and afterwards basically shooting the breeze with them about how great Mamoru was and she could see why (s)he’d like him. How horrible.
why did I even write so many words about this
oh well.

Sometimes I feel like such a fake.
On the one hand, you shouldn’t feel that way. If it’s “fairly popular” as you say then obviously people are enjoying what you’re posting, so as long as you’re happy with what you’ve watched, that should be it.
On the other hand… it is really easy to find resources to watch the anime and read the manga online. So you kind of should finish at least one canon.

I adore how supportive everyone is. While there are times people may be envious of others’ skills - like Usagi sometimes wishing she could get Ami’s grades, etc. - there’s never any jealousy or malice. They just support and celebrate each others’ triumphs, and it’s beautiful.
This is why, while I think the DiC-only plot point of Raye wanting to be the leader instead of Serena was potentially interesting, I could never really support it. Especially as it was dragged on too long and implied to be something Raye always struggled with, instead of being a regular point of conflict that was explored and resolved.

“I think I might be one of the only moonies that dislikes chibi-moon….alot.”
This is just like that confession that said they thought they were the only Moonie who didn’t like PGSM or the musicals. Nope hello welcome to the majority opinion
