"Who wants that? I’d rather choose to fall in love and be hurt. Sometimes I can’t even sleep because I love someone too much. And there’s always sadness in our lives. It’s that sad feeling that keeps us going."

Nakayoshi to Issho finally gets an English patch!
I’ve always loved this game; it’s a cute little RPG produced by Nakayoshi, the magazine that Sailor Moon ran in, and as its most profitable series it featured prominently in the final stage. It may not have the most challenging gameplay in the world, but the sprites are all so cute! And now, you can finally enjoy it without having to either speak Japanese, or stumble blindly through!
I worked together with Hiryuu to make this patch; he did the coding/ROM hacking, and I did the translation. Hiryuu did a marvelous job of this hack and the playing experience is seamless.
There are other manga series in the game, too; Goldfish Warning, Pocket Park, Taiyou ni SMASH, MinMin! and Kurumi and the Seven Dwarfs. This is a super-fun little game and you don’t need to know much about the other titles to enjoy it - but it’s worth noting that since many of the animators who worked on the Goldfish Warning anime moved on to Sailor Moon, there are tonnes of GW references in the early seasons, so now you may pick up on some of them. I heartily recommend spending an afternoon or so playing this.
Go play, right now!
You can download the patch from Hiryuu’s website. You will also need to download the original ROM (here @ SailorVgame.org), an emulator (I recommend this one) and Lunar IPS to apply the patch to the ROM. It sounds complicated, but I swear it’s not. It only takes a few moments to do.
And Dubbies, rejoice - you even get a choice between a version with the original Japanese names, or the DiC dub names.
