When I saw these clothes they reminded me of outfits Naoko often drew Haruka + Michiru in. I took a photo and decided to put them on them later.
Months later…
I wanted to take my mind off of things and draw something familiar yet different. I succeeded!
It had been going on for so long, her mirror long shattered. In one final attack from the enemy that none of them had even expected enough to try and understand, she felt the drop of… Everyone. She’d ran, following Uranus into the depths of the battle and in the last second she’d been shoved to the side, catching only a glimpse of her lovers eyes.
And here she was… Alone.
Aggghhh this is heart-wrenching! Neptune was the one I wanted to see get written the most and this is beautiful. Her getting angry rather than breaking down or crying is very specifically in-character for Neptune, to me. And I really appreciate that there was a focus on her feelings for the other Soldiers and not just Haruka.
