Recommended Reading
SailorFailures has kind of become large and unwieldy, and it covers a lot of different kinds of content - so for new followers/readers, here is a list of “Recommended Reading” to get you started.
First, there’s the #Recommended Tag. These are typically original content posts with a certain amount of Notes, or ones that I feel most accurately portray SailorFailures (or are the most entertaining).
Here are some other tags that are, on their own, Recommended Reading, so aren’t tagged with #Recommended;
#Cosplay - Not my own, this is cosplay I have either reblogged, or reposted myself from outside Tumblr.
#Fanart - A mix of fanart both reblogged/reposted, and my own.
#3 O’Clock Fairy - Stuff cross-posted from my Sailor Moon cooking blog.
#Memeru - Mamoru appreciation/LOL tag.
#Rei is a BAMF - Exactly what its says on the tin.
#Mamoru you’re such a fucking dork - Alternative Mamoru appreciation/LOL tag.
#Reaction Face
#Macro
#Meme - Sometimes I take popular (or semi-popular) memes and add Sailor Moon to them.
Here are some tags that cover a very specific theme that might interest you;
#Dubs vs. Subs - At the moment, this is a lot of “Dub Quote” screencaps that are meant to balance out the overwhelming Dub-hate on the Internet/Tumblr, but if you navigate to the earliest (last) pages, you will find analysis of scenes/episodes that were removed or changed from the original. Interesting reading if you have only ever watched one version before and are curious as to what all the fuss is about.
#Mameluna - A short-lived series of Sailor Moon trivia cards presented by a Mameshiba version of Luna.
#Advice Luna - An “Advice Dog”-style meme for things related to PGSM.
#Vexing Sailor Moon Fan - Another “Advice Dog”-style meme for the vexing things that Sailor Moon fans do.
#Four King Hell! - Shameless self promotion/posts relating to my Sailor Moon webcomic, Four King Hell!.
#RedBubble - Want some interesting, subtle Sailor Moon merchandise? You can buy some of my designs here, including T-shirts, hoodies and iPhone covers. (If you’re concerned, I don’t profit from these.)
#4koma - “4koma” means “4 panels”, and it’s a traditional setup for punchline-oriented gag manga strips. I make them occasionally (I’m trying to make one for every episode - haha, yeah right) and keep them in this tag.
