Every now and then I wonder how the citizens of Tokyo kept falling for the various tricks/traps set up by the villains, but I’m pretty sure that they eventually just walked in willingly. It’s like, “Alright, I know that this enormous castle full of free candy and fruit is probably too good to be true and I will wind up dead. But you know what? Fuck you. It’s a castle full of free candy and I lived a good life.”
