Ok, I’d just planned for this to be a sketch, but then I ended up spending a lot more time on it. I guess I’ll reach a compromise by never finishing it!

Back when making up your own fan-cast for Sailor Moon movies was popular, I decided that outside of Keiko Kitagawa, my perfect Mars was Iya Villania, a Filipino/Australian actress/singer/model/TV personality. I’ve always wanted to draw Rei wearing this outfit that Iya modeled. As it turns out I didn’t actually get to draw much of the clothing but I still think she suits that outfit perfectly.
